With hits such as 'Oh Pretty Woman' 'Only the lonely' 'Blue Bayou' and Crying, Roy Orbison is seen as a true musical icon. Orbison also went onto join the supergroup, The Travelling Wilbury's alongside Bob Dylan, Jeff Lynne, Tom Petty, and George Harrison adding his distinctive vocals and guitar to tracks such as 'Handle with Care' and many more.
Elvis Presley held Roy Orbison in very high regard, publicly stating that Roy had the 'most perfect voice' and referring to him as the 'greatest singer in the world during one of his Vegas concerts.

A letter from world-renowned pickup designer, Tim Shaw confirming that during his employment within the Gibson Custom Shop he modified the electronics of the guitar specifically on the personal instruction of Roy Orbison
