Lynch is considered to be one of the most influential and famous 1980s metal guitarists. He is known for his unique playing style and sound. He is ranked No. 68 on "100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time" by Guitar World magazine and is also ranked No. 10 on "Top 10 Metal Guitarists of All Time" by Gibson.
