History
The above amplifier was purchased in the winter of 1964, was used extensively by the owner until it was retired from Musical Service in 1989. During its long career it was serviced and maintained by its owner to help keep the amplifiers optimum tone
Sound/Tone
Based on high grade component quality/values of these early Marshall 45s and circuit design the amplifier has somewhat similar tonal characteristics to that of a Fender tweed amplifier although with more gain/drive that is synonymous to that Classic Marshall Brit Tone and in collectors/players terms is the Ultimate JTM45
